Bridge the gApp is an online mental health resource available in Newfoundland and Labrador. 

Through Bridge the gApp you can access free online programs such as Strongest Families Institute, Breathing Room, Therapy Assistance Online (TAO), Mindwell U-30 Day Mindfulness Challenge and Always There.

Breathing Room

If you are looking to find new ways to manage stress, anxiety and depression, try it out. We hope you find it helpful. Give yourself a few minutes a day to relax and refresh while gaining practical strategies to better manage life. Through videos, stories and activities, this interactive experience offers fresh ideas and tools to help you move forward.

Meeting vulnerable individuals where they are, helping them go where they want to go, and supporting them to be who they want to be.

You can access a directory of services broken into categories or a complete list of services in alphabetical order.


The DoorWays mental health and addictions walk-in clinic in St. John’s is located at 532 Pleasantville (back of building on Roosevelt Ave).

These clinics are available to men, women, and children over the age of 12 and are open to the public every Monday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Health-care professionals, including psychologists, nurses, addictions counsellors and social workers offer single-session therapy services on a first-come, first-serve basis to those who feel they need to speak to someone right away.
